  3. No Benefit Seen In Longer School Year

    http://www.nytimes.com/1990/06/10/nyregion/l-no-benefit-seen-in-longer-school-year-337490.html

No benefit in a school year its saying just because the school year is longer doesn't mean the kids will learn more people want to compare the americans to the japanese but they have different reasons to learn. American kids should have a new way of learning they such take them out to learn how to read maps like in a treasure hunt so while making the school year longer they should keeps the hours and make it more active for the students to learn not being in a class room all day.

I disagree a longer school day would keep students out of danger in the outside world.

    3. It's mainly about adding more time to the school day. Also, that not only is it to help education for students but to also help working parents. Some public schools support the idea like the KIPP schools and some urban schools, mostly in chicago.
