1. The title of my article is "Grove bans Pacquiao over misrepresented gay marriage comments"
ReplyDelete2. The web address fir my article is http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-manny-the-grove-20120517,0,4111547.story
3. The article is debating on whether Pacquiao should be banned from the Grove mall or not because of his response on gay marriage when asked by a reporter. Pacquiao is a devout Catholic his response to the question was just based on his beliefs he wasn't trying to put anyone down or be a "gay basher". I personally think that he should not be banned from the mall especially since the reporter was the one who brought up the conversation in the first place Pacquiao doesn't even feel comfortable or addressing the topic that much.
GAY MARRIAGE IS A CONSERVATIVE CAUSE
ReplyDeleteGay-rights causes are no longer liberal causes. The campaigns for “equality,” and especially for marriage equality, are essentially conservative positions. That’s why four Republicans could help to legalize same-sex marriage in New York, with little fear of repercussions.
GAY MARRIAGE IS A CONSERVATIVE CAUSE

Gay-rights causes are no longer liberal causes. The campaigns for “equality,” and especially for marriage equality, are essentially conservative positions. A vote for same-sex marriage is a vote for marriage. The only safer act for a politician is kissing a baby.

The marriage bill, whose fate was uncertain until moments before the vote, was approved 33 to 29 in a packed but hushed Senate chamber.
With his position still undeclared, Senator Mark J. Grisanti, a Republican from Buffalo who had sought office promising to oppose same-sex marriage, told his colleagues he had agonized for months before concluding he had been wrong.

ReplyDeleteOn May 9, 2012, President Obama accepted gay marriage in new york. The following was his statement, “I’ve just concluded that for me personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married.” I don't believe this. But its just my opinion.
ReplyDelete1) Obama’s Views on Gay Marriage ‘Evolving’
ReplyDelete2) http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/19/us/politics/19marriage.html?pagewanted=all
3) This article is about obama's history regarding gay people and how he made up his mind on gay marriage. As he grew up, he didn't view gay people as a bad thing so now that he was in power he doesn't see the bad in allowing this. He is also in the process of trying to be re-elected so he felt that maybe if he showed support to the gay, they would show the support back.

Gay Marriage - PRO'S CONS
ReplyDeletehttp://gaymarriage.procon.org/
There is no such thing as traditional marriage. Given the prevalence of modern and ancient examples of family arrangements based on polygamy, communal child-rearing, the use of concubines and mistresses and the commonality of prostitution, heterosexual monogamy can be considered "unnatural” in evolutionary terms.
